Nearby Pakoštane are beautiful cities rich historical heritage. The closest is Baguio, old Croatian royal town was first mentioned in the mid-tenth century, while in the XI. century was the seat of Croatian kings and bishops.

Much older is the city of Zadar, which has too many historical sites to visit in just one day. You have to visit a beautiful medieval churches and monasteries.
